sulbutiamine
02-19-2017 6:31 PM
I had purchased a bottle of sulbutiamine 200 mg a while back but I never got around to trying it. Today I popped a pill on an empty stomach and I can honestly say the effects were very positive and noticeable.
Effects
- Effects kicked in within an hour
- Increased Energy
- Increased Awareness of my surroundings
- Decreased brain fog
- Easier to make eye contact with people walking down the street
- Zen like feeling
- Greatly increased perception of details in my surroundings
- Increased general sense of well being
- Increased happiness
The effects should have been more subtle. This nootropic is not supposed to have this strong of an effect. This makes me think that I may have had a thiamine deficiency in my brain.
Anyone try this nootropic on this forum?

I tried it twice and both times I felt a burning sensation in my stomach; as if it was acidic. I ordered it in pill form because I kept reading the reviews of the powder form how it burns the tongue. I'm surprised you took it on an empty stomach because the 2nd time I took it with food and the acidic sensation was much more tolerable than when I had a relatively empty stomach.

I take this nootropic blend that contains Sulbutiamine 3 times a week when I give presentations.

I find it works well for sharpness, fluidity of mind, and confidence.
I am not sure how much the Sulbutiamine is responsible, though.
Intense.

I have no experience with this nootropic but It is one that I've wanted to try for awhile. At the moment I have too many to play with, however.
Have you taken it more than once? Often times a new nootropic will feel like god in a pill but then any time after that the effects are crazily diminished. I am wondering if this holds true for sulbutiamine for you. Last question for now: What other noots have you tried / how does this compare?
