Hmm interesting. So does this mean if we set our blog to private, google cannot index it?

Ooohh there's a blog option? Nice!! I voted yes for the journals but a blog is great too!!! I'm going to figure that one out!!

That's correct Zeph, if your blog is set to private it won't be visible to search engines and so won't be indexed.

I like the blog format. More control for us and good options

ALSO less work for the admins

Personally I never really read journals and rarely look at blogs, so having them off somewhere where they won't get under my feet and in the way is fine by me. But that's just me.

Can't we just call the blogs our journals, since we already have blogs? Maybe a stickie note in the welcome forum to point people there would be good.

Sorry for being technologically challenged....But what is the difference between a blog & a journal? I thought they were the same thing, like a modern onlike version of a diary?
