This might sound silly but... When I read silently I noticed I use a bitch-type beta male voice in my head. Not sure why. Upon this realization I started to use my real voice instead. Sounds strange but I feel much more in control. Putting myself out there - What's your inner voice sound like?

never actually paid attention until I rad your post, but I think the voice that I hear while typing this reply is the voice of ancient god, relaxed, deep, wise and patient


thank you for this deep thinking, actually I had this thoughts before but not on the voice type, it was on which language I use while I think, happened to be I think in 3 different languages.

My own, when I'm not so in the zone of reading where I transcend the abstraction of words.

This is easy question. I do read a lot. Books, Magazines, Online Newspapers and forum posts.

I have my own voice reading for the most part. But sometimes I imagine how the author might sound like. I read it in Author's voice if it's a Biography book and I've heard author's voice before.
