For Anyone interested, this is Shannon's side of the story:
(posted today on PXS forum)
There seems to be a lot of confusion about my pheromone mix Panty Scorcher, from the old days at Androtics. So I will clear up what I can here.
Panty Scorcher currently exists on paper only, aside from perhaps a half an ounce that I still have and have been saving. It is three different formulas, Version 1.0, Revision 1 and Revision 2.
Version 1 is composed of 16 pheromone ingredients and Version 1.2 uses 17.
Panty Scorcher was discontinued because Androtics would not make more of it. The claim made was that it was "too expensive", costing "$4,000 per ounce to make", and that "it did not perform better than a placebo consisting of Beta Androstenol alone". I do not know the veracity of these statements, but I do know the latter assertion (that it did not perform better than placebo) directly contradicted my experience, all of my personal testers' experiences, and many of the people who used the Androtix MX pack's experience.
In spite of these claims, I gave a 1 ounce bottle of it to a friend who was a business specialist, and after he saw what it did, he raised literally millions of dollars in startup capital. He went after Androtics himself trying to work up a deal. He failed to get anywhere.
Since the formulas are not entirely pheromone names, but code names Androtics uses, I didn't know what the actual chemistry was and this was the end at that time. I couldn't do anything further with it. If they have re-issued it since then, they did it without my permission or oversight.
Panty Scorcher was originally released in both Game and Akuto scent.
The mix was not discontinued because any of the ingredients were or are illegal, to the best of my knowledge. It was not discontinued because I did not want to keep offering it, or anything like that.
I am planning to, at some point, and in some way, try to get it re-made and figure out the actual chemistry so that I can continue developing it. I believe I can refine and improve it further still, since it really didn't get nearly enough testing IMO. I also believe I can steer it in several vastly different directions, in different versions.
Panty Scorcher was calculated entirely by the use of a software program I created for myself originally intended to tell me what the optimal pheromone product to use in any given situation was, and the optimal amount to use each time. It proved so effective that I tried calculating some mixes with it, and PS was my first major test of it, calculating whether or not each of more than 18 pheromones should be included or not, and if so, at what concentration. That "calculator" has since evolved through constant usage and refinement into a series of three slightly different predictive computer models that I use to calculate a variety of other things as well, and the models have very high accuracy when used properly. Skeptics are welcome to be skeptical, but I know what this would do in the wrong hands and I will never release my predictive models, so you are welcome to your skepticism if my words to not convince.
Based on the feedback I got from my own experiments with it, and that of the people I turned to privately for testing, I got excellent feedback and results. However, I never got the chance to really test it myself well enough to fully understand it. Hopefully it can be re-released and I can continue to improve it. It would be very interesting to see how it compares now to the more developed high end mixes available for sale. I'd like to see how much of the legend holds up to real life testing, since I didn't even know it became a legend until recently.
