Thanks, thinking of moving this to the Men's section to get more feedback. Any mods object to that?
There has to be someone who has used straight muscone on the forums.

First of all, you do not have the ability to move threads between forums, and second, yes I do object: Threads should be placed in the forum most appropriate to the discussion, not in the forum that's likely to generate the most attention.

The women's testosterone level skyrocketed after smelling the muscone.
They didn't actually use Chanel or Axe in the study, they used "rose, floral" and "muscone, a mixture of compounds including muscone 3-methyl-cyclopentadecalacton."
Would love to figure out exactly what they used.

Why not simply read the publication then?
"Rose" is citronellol, geraniol and nerol
"floral" is b-phenylethylalcohol, linalool and methyl dihydrojasmonate - which is hedione
All odorants decreased Cortisol in both men and women.
Musk increased T in females, decreased it in males.
Floral increased T in males, decreased it in females
Rose decreased T im women
I can't see many similarities between muscone and androstenol in strucure or odour. What's more alpha-androstenol is not a good indicator of a healthy androgen-metablism, probably even to the contrary

I did read the publication. I was referring to the exact type of muscone that they used. There are many differing types depending on the vendor. Just because something is labeled a certain name does not mean that is the exact one used. A lot of vendors mix and match or use some outsourced garbage from a subcontractor.
The article mentions Kanebo Cosmetics but I haven't found a link to their muscone. I'll be ordering muscone, l-muscone and musk ketone to try and find the most effective one.
