I'm always willing to help newbie's but it's frustrating to continually answer questions that fall on blind eyes. They simply aren't willing to do the required work. Yeah, I got one of those $1000 GC's...sent to me by Jasmin...per Michael Harris' request. I figured it was because I kept my mouth shut during The Instant Sexi Gate Fiasco. I stayed out of it because SteveO, personally, asked me to do so. Yeah, Tigerlily did a bang up job of sockin' it to 'em. Unfortunately, SteveO and Tisha were the whipping boys and payed the price... when it was really Michael and Jasmin who should have been tied to the post. I haven't used that GC and don't intend to. I may be a lot of things but bought off ain't one of 'em.

Rattlesnake, you can say what you want about SteveO and it doesn't piss me off...just so I'm clear about that...but he's a good man and a friend of mine. He will always have my respect and support. We didn't boogie outta PheroTalk, en masse, for no good reason. We, seriously, needed a place to go and it's not like legitimate pheromone forums are falling outta the sky. We share a common interest which is what drew us together in the first place. As Mark said, we didn't want to loose our friends. Where can we do what we do here? With whom can we discuss this? The dog? If we hadn't moved on this they'd be gone for good...like Tater and Tacitus. I don't know about you... but besides my husband and you guys...I don't know anyone else who uses pheromones! We've tried our best to make clear our intentions and didn't start this forum to bash AD or anyone else. And, once again, I don't consider telling the truth to be bashing.

If a product is inferior, no matter who manufactures it, we wanna know about it and talk about it....without restrictions. If we find something that's good quality and works, no matter who manufactures it, we wanna talk about that too. Just like anything else in life, ya gotta weed out the rubies from the rock pile.

We just want to feel confident in the companies we purchase from/products we use and be free to discuss them in a relaxed atmosphere without fear of being intimidated, reprimanded, insulted and/or banned.

We all try to be kind and respect one another's feelings/opinions. It's not really hard with such a great group of people. If we keep that in mind, there's no stopping us.

Now, stick that in your pipe and party on!

This might sound bitchy but the new Mod, as sweet & helpful as she tries to be...well she just doesn't seem that switched on. Or phero experienced... I've seen her give some odd advice... Me too... I either give advice that falls on deaf ears or "super-noobs" with only a few weeks experience jump in & give poor (but a lot more exciting sounding) advice that is then followed ... and then they come back & are surprised Brad Pitt didn't jump their bones

Half of the newbies don't read the stickies & get frustrated when I can't tell them exactly how much to apply...or that they need to experiment with the products 1 at a time...Or what each putative does. What's wrong with them? Seriously! Experimenting is half the fun! No, more than that!

I know I should pay it forward, all the help I recieved when I first started out, but I just get frustrated when people just want everything handed to them on a plate & can't even be arsed to read the basic info in the stickies...the same basic Q's get asked over & over

Actually I think it probably has to do with the advertising they're running and marketing tactics. There was a big influx of idiots, I mean new members awhile back, and it seemed like every last one of them either knew it all, or wanted someone tol tell them everything. They werent willing to take the time to learn the products and molecules, and werent willing to listen to sound advice. They expected to spray a bunch of everything on and have the opposite sex fawning all over them. The testing and research aspect of the forum died off, and the seasoned members started walking away.

Then you had the whiners and cry baby's!

Oh well, all good things must come to an end. And I'd say their just about to go super nova.

You ARE paying it forward. By being here you are providing a reservoir of knowlege that can be tapped by anyone googleing common terms like "pheromone forum" where we show up right behind Ptalk and LoveScent. You are paying it forward by testing farther afield and putting up reports. It is amazing to go through the men's and women's section here now and see the numerous reports from everyone. You are paying it forward just by logging on here a few times a week so that when a new pheromone user pops in they find an active forum that is about discovering the truth about pheromones.

I do love that about this place... I get to talk about which ever product I like... AND I get to do almost proper research! And people take an interest in it too! I try and be active in the theory section over at AD but I have to avoid the posts & threads that are scientifically so up the wall that I'd come across as a stuck up b*tch if I corrected people... I tend to go for the threads with atleast some scientific basis but even with those I often get strange replies and usually there isn't much interest in the posts...not like posts in the "How to get panties off the quickest" type threads

Awwww Thank you Xiphoid, that really does mean a lot to me. The new mod is a really nice sweet person but she is new to pheromones and just learning. She is probably running into the same trouble I was beginning to run into though. She can only suggest certain products and she is probably being told to push certain ones because so much is out of stock and that leads to giving bad advice. That was part of the reason I left. I kept running into walls. Ladies would ask me for something to increase sexual desire in there husbands and Jasmin would say........... Tell them to get P74 or MX300. I am not going to ruin my reputation to push products I know damn well wont do what they are asking for. Not that these two products are not good for other things but they are not for sex. I did that job because I truly love helping people with there pheromones and that's what there forum was about in the beginning. Now I can always tell what molecules they have in abundance by what is being pushed that week. It makes me sad for the newbies.
