Hey Wild, No worries on the 5 post thing. I knew you couldn't pm me back yet. As far as the reasons people have split from AD, well, I think there are a lot of different reasons. That's in part why this forum looks at times like a sounding board for everyone who wants to pick AD to death. That's not the point of Pherotruth.

 If we are to stick to our premise and keep the forum as open as possible to anything short of slander or liable, then there is bound to be a lot of venting and even a few axes to grind. I think this has lessened a lot over the past couple of months and hope it continues to decline so we can get on with futhering knowlege about pheromones.

Openness is bound to bring it's share of both bashing and cheerleading. Somewhere in between is reality and that's what we are seeking.

Sounds great but reality is not so homogenous. Some are treated liked friggen kings, most are ignored and, an unfortunate few--usually the most knowledgeable and truthful--are forced to bend over and take it, only to be put out on the street with a sore arse.

I take it that you mean that the suckholes are the ones that they value, because there is plenty of thems and even more where thems came from.

Holy beans, PT is going down in flames slowly so it seems nowadays. I can't help but notice that it's starting to become a free for all to a certain degree over at PT. Trolls, n00bs not listening to the advice of more experienced users, n00bs giving out advice like they already know, and many other things. It's been dead to a certain degree too, not too many dedicated serious posters either! Only ones left who truly care about research is WildFlower, jessejester, Snoopyace, djandarial, some other newer guys that have shown potential, and my self. It's seriously weird to see, I don't even feel like posting much anymore because it's unappealing. I'm just barely starting to notice a serious change, way more than the change I felt when we lost all you dedicated vets.

I know you vets saw this change sooner than I did, because of course you guys were there first to notice a change than I. However, now I just can't help but notice it ASAP. The lack of a "presence" to post feedback such as the way it used to be when Jasmin and MHarris used to post is definitely not helping keep things in order. So that's where the free for all thing comes in, slowly I see it being invaded more by more trolls and users being fed up easily by normal basic questions that a new user has when first starting with pheromones (in other words, shorter fuses are becoming more prominent.)

It's really sad to see, because I have respect and admiration for Jasmin, MHarris, Steve, and the rest so it sucks to see something like PT change its course from dedicated forum for R&D to a forum where it has become every man for himself. The return of tacitus, and the presence of Warren, Gegogi, Tisha, renny at times, and Nbully is probably what's keeping things still under some control. Other than that, a total change from when I first started posting. Sad really.

We were devoted, loyal and true blue, we tried our absolute level best and it/we didn't matter. It's a terrible betrayal and disappointment, it's a crime and a shame. Talk about break your heart.

We didn't all up and out for no good reason.

People are disposable.  Most of us know... in the Real World...it's all about the Benjamins.

Yeah, and that's why I'm here because you guys are here. It's just so sad, it's so alien now, even more alien than when you guys first left! If you don't mind go ahead and look for yourself, I'm sure that it will be even more different for you guys than before.

I mean I'll still post reviews and what have you, but I know that it'll just fall onto blind eyes except for the true R&D/pheromones lovers that remain (which as I mentioned isn't many.)

Ahhh (((((Miko))))))) I know its sad. The place is being over run by idiots. I busted my ass for a long time keeping that forum neat clean and free of trolls when I was the mod there. It breaks my heart to see it turning into a cesspool of ignorance and misinformation. Its not Androtics fault, Steve Jasmin and Michael dont have to time to spend on the forum posting. Its a big job.

The products are still rockin compared to most others our there though and we can talk about those and any other product we want here.

Definitely, totally agree with you my dear Tisha. And thank you for posting your insight over at PT regarding that one guy who lacks a brain, only if they knew just how much you really do know in regards to what you posted and know pheromone wise but whatever. They won't listen, so whatever at least we have this safe haven thanks to Mark which is moderated to a better extent thanks to you, Mark, and Bella.

Of course though, I understand that Steve, Jasmin, and MHarris don't have the time to moderate to the extent you did when you were a moderator there so that's completely understandable no doubt. Just sucks to see it go this way... I mean maybe I'm blowing things out of proportion but if it's like this now imagine later on when even more serious members realize this free for all? :/

I just came from posting some things on PheroTalk and all I can say is, wow.  A troll is running amuck through there.  Someone posted that they'd been disconnected when trying to call the order center and the 'forum moderator' had a tone in the response that was pretty disrespectful.  She was pretty blatently telling the person she didn't believe that they'd been disconnected.  Ahhh, such wonderful people skills. 

All the new people who (like Mikotorocks wrote) aren't bothering to try and search for info and aren't following any advice (not that I'm the person they want to be listening to anyhow) and just general chaos.  It is sad.  I LOVE the products there and have learned so much about pheromones from using their products but I don't necessarily feel like I am getting anywhere posting on that forum anymore. 

Then there is the fact that everything I want has been out of stock for months (yeah, I'll stop whining about it ) but there are too many things that I don't know what I can substitute.  I think I have a bead on P75 and P95 but beyond that...

Anyhow, I am so glad that I found this place (thanks Mikotorocks714) and can keep learning and having  some phero induced fun at the same time.

True, and it's been that way for months. It's not the wild west yet but they're bleeding badly. But there are far worse forums. The dpreview camera forums and MySpace come to mind! They'll either dwindle down to a hollow shell of their former glory or (like Love Scent) or become a free for all of teenage men typing illegible stuff from their iPhones.
