So their forum is the tool they use to make money, and it does not really matter to them if they lose some members because of the methods they use to control the forum because there will always be newbies arriving to take their place and replentish the money machine.
They may tread on some toes and upset some apple carts along the way but it really just does not matter a hoot because the important business of dragging in the dollars is really all that matters, and after all the new members will find everything just looks so beautiful, therefore all is ok and AD will continue to have choice food placed upon her table. after all who gives a rats about a few disgruntled and ruffled ex forum members.

Terry's pretty well nailed it! Looking at their forum they propbably bring in 15 to 25 new members a day, the vast majority of which seem to stick around for a couple of weeks to a couple of months, max! If each of those members place 2, 3 or 4 orders before walking away, they're probably averaging at least $200.00 in orders per member, but it may be as much as $500.00 or more.

Even if they were spending $1,000.00 a day on pay-per-click ads, they would still be making a minimum of $2,000.00 a day or more.

And, once you've gotten past all the pretty wrappings, it becomes pretty damn clear that they're more interested in bringing in new members than in keeping the old ones happy; you know the ones that actually UNDERSTAND pheromones and can provide valauble contributions, instead of just bad advice and more smoke and mirrors. And that shows that their whole premise of being a research forum and "making the world a better place" is just more bullshit!

Think about it! We know they've changed their formulas in at least some products, I.E. the Instant Sexiness line, without renaming those products or advising the members who were testing and reporting on them. Granted, they added Batch Numbers, supposedly so they could track things a little better, but did you ever see anyone from Androtics step in and ask for a batch number in any report?

Interesting thing. I just installed a Firefox Add In called "Web of Trust" where Web sites are rated for trustworthyness, vender reliability, privacy and child safety. When I go to PT, a warning pops up that the site isn't trustworthy. I don't get that here.

 

By the way, I didn't know you guys were hosting this site in Canada.

That's because we're all just a bunch of trustworthy people! 

Yeah, we've got a dedicated server at IWeb in Montreal.  It's less than  half of what I was paying when I had a server at The Planet in Dallas, and it's more powerful!

Now I just gotta find a reason to have to go to the datacenter.  I love Montreal!

It's good to see all the old faces again. And I do find the majority of the posts on this forum informative and positive - just the few anti-Androtics ones which put me of a bit. I feel a real loyalty for Andortics as they've treated me really well, and I can't imagine them treating anyone else differently. I have no idea what happened that caused people to split as everyone seems to talk about it cryptically. I guess I just want everyone to get along. I'll be sure to stick around here as well as on Pherotalk.

I was never treated wrongly by AD, but they have treated people I care about wrongly.  It just seems that more and more of the veteran members are being pushed away by AD. Those were the members I stayed on PT for. Posts being deleted, lack of transparency, and just plain being dishonest. I joined PT 2 years ago and it is really different now. Like this thread mentions, poor advice is given out now, formulations changing w/o telling customers, lack of veterans, etc. I use to love AD and was extremely loyal, never buying other pheromones from other companies cause I thought AD was the pinnacle of phero molecules. Yeah, that changed... to me it just seems like they just feed newbs a decent MX, wait for it to blow up, sell it all out and restart again. I mean, they have never once released any recipes to a mix that they said they would release. MX292 anyone? I mean Marty did a REALLY good job of trying to analyze and decipher MX292 and getting others to theorize. "I'd love to see more quality theories and guesses before I post it." -Jasmin. 11 pages later and there is STILL no recipe for it. Remember the thread where it asked for which mixes you wanted the formula for? None of them were released. It just seems like a lot of our efforts were ignored and then bam, bannings happened when their faults were pointed out. =/

I lost trust and faith in the P-T forum when my PM's started to be intercepted moderated and also some just simply not delivered at all, And i began to think
"WHAT A JOKE" certainly elements of darkness evident, but Ho Hum there is an old saying " Where there is muck there is money " and at the end of the day it all boils down to the Mighty Dollar and sure who gives a rats arse if some faithfull members are squashed as there will always be heaps of new cash cows to entice with bright hopes and pheromone dreams to fulfill and this will keep the coffers topped up and put meat and cream on the AD tables and LOOK LOOK LOOK how the suckers go back for more, yes they are so forgiving and all so ready to offer their hears souls and mind to the machine, but thats life and human nature so it seems.
