Open Focus leads to easier State Control

I recently read the book: The Open Focus Brain

Open Focus involves becoming aware of space which synchronizes your brain waves.

The Alpha wave synchronization can make you calmer and remove anxiety. When you remove anxiety it allows you to better control your state.

I have worn pheromones daily for a few weeks without breaks (I normally take breaks) and experienced some anxiety and a bit of anger....I think it came from buildup and not cleaning my app points every time.

Open Focus put me in such a relaxed state that I could keep wearing the mones daily.

Quick demo: in a safe place (not driving)....With no effort, just using your attention And accepting what you get by shifting your attention.

Ask yourself 3 questions, spaced about 10 seconds apart and allow your attention to go there. It a yes or no question, but you are doing the action.

1. Can you imagine the space between your eyes?

2. Can you imagine the space inside and around your thumbs?

3. Can you imagine the space between your thumb and index fingers?

It may be easier with your eyes closed. It took me longer to get a big shift, but I experienced a small shift with just 3 questions. Some people are full of shift so it may happen faster.

Enjoy and please share your experience if you try it.

Excellent book. I read it a long time ago.

I think the ideas in the book tie into Polyvagal theory. The vagus nerve triggers the parasympathetic nervous system and the ideas in the "Open Focus Brain" relate to the vagus nerve.

I agree, Metaltree! Bravo! My hope is that some of the members who get anxiety from a blend can relax and eventually enjoy that blend.
