You aren't missing anything though, the latest iteration wasn't as good as the original test samples sent out, then it was revised once more for test kitchen which was a little cut down imo but still retained it's "sexual prowess". Yeah the first revision has a flat gold label with manimal 2 in black.

The second revision has a gold shiny foil label with a black filigree-esque border on it and manimal 2 in black.

That's the first revision and it's the closest to the first ones that were sent out in the test vials. I personally think the test vials were more potent but the one you have in your hand is just as good and gets the job done.

It appears to be the first. I have the second, and it is "okay". I haven't tested it out enough though, so I am not sure much about it. The scent has kept turning me away from it; it isn't bad, but it is polarizing.
