I've read some people talking about spray pattern of various types of bottles, from the small sprays of to-go and sample bottles to the large coverage and big sprays of full size bottles. When spraying colognes I usually place the bottle very close to my skin and spray so that it creates a small pool and then rub it around. None is lost, but the covered area is smaller. Does it work better to hold the bottle far away and create a cloud of mist, increasing exposed skin area, at the risk of overspray being lost to the air around you? What works best for you?

IMO when I spray regular colognes (alcohol based) I smell them longer when I spray it real close to my chest/body.

It doesnt last as long when you spray far away.

I wonder if the same is with mones.



This type of topic is one of those odd ones. I hear alot of people post threads about this yet many many different answers.


Answers like:

-Only use the same base (as in oil based Pheromones and oil based scents. Same with alcohol.

-Spray cologne then the mones on-top

-Spray mones then cologne on top

-Spray on hair

-Spray on chest

-Spray on belly-button

-Spray on pubic hair.... haha

-Spray on back of neck (? why here?)

-Spray on arms/forarms/wrists (here I can see as you move your hands-diffusion.)


To go bottles are like 1/3 the spray of full-size. Also you can mix and match too without tainting an entire bottle.


I DONT KNOW. SO MANY WAYS. IF YOUR NOT GETTING A RESPONSE TRY SOMETHING ELSE.


Oh and I have also heard to spray on something that is not on your skin... less effective however if you have a bad mix (your chemistry and the mones) that should nullify it....

There are many different answers because people it does not work the same for everybody. Some people say it works best if they use unscented mones, while for others the effects are better if the mone comes scented. Try a few different ways so you can see what works best for you.
Also, to answer your query regarding the back of the neck, people who are prone to negative effects, specially from -dienone, have found that the further they spray from their nose, the better, hence spraying on the back of their neck. Others will spray on their belly button or calves. it's a question of finding the right balance between minimizing bad side self-effects while maximizing effects on others.

If its one spray, always to the throat area.. If its two sprays I do each side of the neck.

While some spray to their clothes or upper/lower body I don't.

I spray my mones by modifying what you do - close to skin but in a sweeping motion. This lays down a nice wet track of product which I then spread over the area into my skin. Keeps wastage to atmosphere to a bare minimum.
