You're probably right. I couldn't find anything else about how DHEAS is manufactured in the body

https://discoverxs.com/forum/pheromonexs...rm-storage

Stumbled on this while looking at xs and seeing how much would it cost to get a 100 mg per spray of dheas.

It seems the consensus on that page is that dheas concerts to dhea over time ? According to an answer from a lab

The discussion is centered on DHEA and it's conversion to DHEAS via sulfation in the body...primarily with first pass in the liver. Another point of debate mentioned is whether the sulfation can be reversed so that DHEAS---->DHEA.

Both articles listed below seem to support listmate theLaw's citation of RayPeat Forum, that in fact the reaction can be reversed. It is also important what route of administration is being applied....topical application avoids first pass liver and thus, DHEA largely will stay DHEA. Oral administration cannot avoid first pass and most DHEA will not stay DHEA, but will convert to DHEAS.

https://www.zrtlab.com/blog/archive/diff...ain-health

quote from article: " It is plausible to assume that DHEA-S that arises from first-pass metabolism after oral DHEA administration behaves in a similar manner to endogenous DHEA-S and contributes to the body’s biological reservoir of DHEA, readily converting to DHEA when the need arises. "

and
" The advantage of topical DHEA administration, however, is for those patients with known sulfatase SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphisms) such as e.g., SUOX a SNP which directly affects sulfite oxidase enzyme which detoxes the toxic SO3 sulfite radical to the less toxic SO4 sulfate radical; remember gentlemen to always let your wine breathe...as wines usually contain sulfites (look at label) as the oxygen in the air will help wine along in more ways than one! If personal biochemistry does not allow for DHEA-S to be readily converted to DHEA, the topical route may be preferred. "

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2725024/

The following quote from this article spells it out directly:

" DHEAS can be converted back into DHEA by steroid sulfatase (STS). "

THE BIGGER QUESTION HERE: All the stuff mentioned happens in the body. Just the theLaw said, it may behave in a total different manner on the skin as a pheromone when you spray one or the other on. DHEA sprayed on skin most likely won't convert into DHEAS unless one walks through a sulfur gas cloud. Maybe if one eats beans, eggs, onions and broccoli...sulfur farts may be exuded, but then again...not an option when trying to attract ! Smile Conversely, DHEAS worn externally probably won't reconvert back to DHEA.

haven't used it, but for reference:

cholesterol powder also seems to be great for increasing androgens:

According to the following chart, cholesterol is converted into pregnenolone as a first step before being converted into other hormones including androgens.

I know this is broscience, but wouldn't taking pregnenolone be just as good as taking cholesterol powder?

Quote from RP:

Quote:In very young people, the metabolic rate is very high, and the rapid conversion of cholesterol into pregnenolone, DHEA, and progesterone usually keeps the level of cholesterol in the blood low. In the 1930s, a rise in the concentration of cholesterol was considered to be one of the most reliable ways to diagnose hypothyroidism (1936 Yearbook of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Endocrinology, E.L. Sevringhaus, editor, Chicago, p. 533). With aging, the metabolic rate declines, and the increase of cholesterol with aging is probably a spontaneous regulatory process, supporting the synthesis of the protective steroids, especially the neurosteroids in the brain and retina.

I think the body would covert the cholesterol into the needed androgens, which would be more precise than using them separately.
