I started experimenting more seriously with pheromones about a year ago, and IMPI Red is one of the ones I'm having trouble understanding.

There is a ton of back and fourth between versions, bad batches, whether or not it is defuncted, etc. I've scoured the threads but am having trouble finding any consensus about what is going on. Can someone quickly offer some guidance before before I purchase?

I'm also seeing a lot pop up about "IMPI Red DOT". Would someone be kind enough to help me make sense of it all before I order? I haven't been around long enough to have kept up with every small change made to the product so it's becoming a bit overwhelming combing through the threads. Which one is best to buy?

Just make a decision and report back.

I purchased my Impi Red directly from Lacroy at the end of last year. The product hits like a train.
I have also posted my full review in the relevant thread.

Also remember that from the vendors perspective its a business. So they may make a weaker new version and claim that the older stronger version will be made available at a higher price.... Just my speculation.
