Can pheromones change your personality type?

I was just wondering.

If you have a certain personality type like an introvert, extrovert, ladies man, or family man and you keep changing up your pheromone signature to polar opposites then the question begs:

People don't know your wearing mones, so what personality type would they classify you as?

Even better this is a good topic to suggest what personality type best describes a wide range of introversion , extroversion, family man, ladies man etc so you can just say I have personality type XYZ that is why I'm the way I am, instead of releasing your SECRET (i.e. a life of pheromone use) .

That's a damn fine question if I do say so my damn self!

I think the answer is, no pheromones do not alter your personality any more than the application of pheromones will cause a lesbian target to suddenly turn straight. However, the additional confidence and the exposure to the alterations of our sense of self, through self-effects, experience, and the confidence of being boosted by pheromones, may, by proxy, cause us to alter ourselves to align more with our ideals or our perception of the aura the pheromones of our choice seems to project.

In general, I think inside of you have all the traits (both extraverted & introverted) just you might have some more pronounced. So a mone can temporarily strengthen some of the weaker part of you(enhance) then it may seem you have a bit of a shift. But I don't think it changes the type of personality you have.

We've all had days when we feel more closed towards people. And we all had days when we felt like kings and were in the center of attention. Just your personality type pushes you to a certain.. "zone". That's my take on it Smile

Just take Mr Depp in Hollywood for example. A multitude of characters he played... Like 40 different types of personalities in his movies.

We are not actors at that level but different pheromones can cause us to act out different sides of our personality each time we wear them.

Someone who wears BW everyday won't be seen as out of the norm. But someone who keeps switching signatures would.

I am just asking what personality type is that? The actual name. (A multi faceted personality)?

Could you be perceived to have split personality or schizophrenia if you kept changing your mones around the same crowds? Like every 2 days, polar opposites. Social, alphas, Sexuals, Alpha Sexuals, Combos of all the former?

SO The first response I predict to my message is "WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO DO THAT?"

I.e change up signatures so often.

I would think behaving the same way week after week, month after month would be BORING. Wearing the same pheromones all the time would be BORING! Many users on here have pheromone rotation cycles.

Garry from LAL seems to think a pheromone can change someone's personality or at least motivate them in the direction to do so.

Personality in it's narrow psychological meaning (big five or MBTI ) is a quite stable trait, or better a collection of traits. But no one is on a point, but rather oscillates / fluctuates around his/her average on each of the traits (like extrovertion, openness, agreeableness etc.). So you never be exactly at the same degree of extrovertion, for example. Most people are anyhow quite average, similar as most people are average in height or attractiveness - it's always the extreme ends of a spectrum that draws the attention.

So day to day changes of external (e.g. workload, family/relationship stress/fulfillment, weather, physical exercise, nutrition, disease) or internal (thoughts, hormon and neurotransmitter levels, sleep etc.) can change the momentary position on each traits spectrum. Among these influences are also the pheromones we perceive, the natural and the artificial ones.

In my experience the long term use (like 3 years now) changed my personality a bit. Not extremely, but I think I'm a bit more extroverted, more bold, less agreeable, more open. But I'm not sure if that is the direct action of the pheromones, or the reaction to the experiences I made through the mones. Even in the adult brain there is a fair amount of neuroplasticity, the brain remodels based on the experiences we have. Repeated increased assertiveness throu 'alpha' mones make you more assertive even without any additional mone, I think.

Then there is the fact that all our behavior is in a close interaction with the behaviors of the people we are surrounded by. A lot of these we are seeing and interacting with on a regular basis. To stay with the agreeableness - assertiveness spectrum: if they see you shifting to a more assertive behavior (by Androstenone and Androsterone use) , they adjust their behavior towards your, on which in turn you adopt your behavior. Over a period of time your "normal" is shifted.

A third aspect is based on an observation I recently made. I observed, or at least think that I did, that I get 'respect hits' from men and women with the classical 'alpha' mones, even outdoors and upwind, like from people heading to me. By no means they have had any contact to my mone signature. But I had. So I think, that the self effects lead to a different body language, e.g. higher body tension, more energetic movements, a more serious facial expression and so on. The modulate behavior of the other people is than just a reaction to the own behavior changed by the self effects of the mones.

So yes, to a certain extent the prolonged use of pheromones can change your personality. They are neuromodulators at the end, and the wearer gets the highest dose.

Don't blame gravity for your stumbling - learn to walk!
