I have received this e-mail, few hours ago. Possibly because I have placed an order from his site. I thought it would interest some of you guys. I also think Chris would like this news to come across here so I thought I'd share it.

After reading this article in Science Daily, I obtained some hedione to experiment with. Much to my delight, it proved to work synergistically with our pheromone products. It enhances all of the formulas we offer, working especially well in Alfa Maschio, Certo, and L2K. In of itself, Hedione has pheromone effects which I observe to be similar to Androstadieone, estratetraenol, alpha androstenol, and Molecule A while being generally gender-neutral.

With Men's products, it adds a higher dimension of attraction and self-confidence. It is a mood-brightener for both men and especially women. It seems to round off any sharp edges with men's products in terms of aggression or irritation, and thus it is a powerful buffer. It reduces inhibition, and women love the subconscious effects it gives them. It is very attractive overall.

The improvements noticed while experimenting with hedione were so positive that I have decided to add the compound to all of our products – beginning as of Tuesday the 21th of April, all of our products now contain Hedione in light concentration.


Hedione, in its pure form that we use, has a very light odor resembling citrus or is perhaps lightly floral. The concentrations which are used in our products enables its positive effects while remaining stealthy; The odor of Hedione is barely detectable and the odor is subdued enough so it does not detract from or change the fragrance of our scented products, and neither does it expose itself in unscented varieties.

We are very excited with this development, and we are very happy with the improvement overall. What do you guys think about this? Will this push you to make another purchase of the same product to compare? Do you think it will decrease the value of his "old" products in the Trading Post?

And who knows how many other, though probably just listed as jasmine.

A quick Google search shows that it's readily available. It also appears that several fragrance houses use it in varying concentrations from about 5 % to 30%.

I shouldn't have bought AM so soon. Missed our this ingredient.

So are they going to throw away the batches of product without the hedione? I highly doubt it. So how do you know if you are getting the product with hedione or not?

I agree with that. I think the customers will receive the 'old' versions until their stock is still available.

I'm cautious with "new improved formulas. now even better! " I'm tempted to buy LIIK and Corpo while I can still request the old version


Edit: What is Molecule A? Is it TAA or beta-androstAnol ?

Isn't this single molecule what the cologne Molecule 01 is all about?

How will we be sure we are getting the revised product with this hedonism ingredient?

They are different molecules. Molecule 1 is Iso E Super. it has a sandalwood/cedarwood-like fragrance. Hedione is a different compound and it has a jasmine-like fragrance apparently.

We really don't know how much Chris mixes at a time. I remember when chris posted that his garage was broken into he lost 5 gallons of AM that he'd just mixed.

If he is still mixing the same amount he can just add Hedione to it.
