I love oil base perfumes.  My one pet peev with them though is they stay close to the body.  Well IO was over at possets and Fabienne had some suggestions on how to make a scent stronger and not fade as quickly.

She said to put the drops of oil in the palms of your hands then rub them together and then to apply it to your arms or other parts of the body you want to scent.

I figured what the heck and I gave it a try and it really works very well for perfume oils.  The scent is much stronger and diffuses amazingly.  I was surprised such a simple change could make such a huge difference.

I tried it with some of my pheromone oils and sure enough I notice a stronger response with them.

wow that's interesting! but isn't it the same as applying it on your wrists and rubbing them together? *confused*

Why use it on the palm - rub it and then pat it on the other parts of your body? Is it because you're "heating" up the oils before you apply it on yourself?
