Just wanted to ask for assistance in terms of dosing. I went to the mall a few weeks ago and I found a setup vendor that sells Cannabis oil and Vape supplies. The cannabis oil they sell is 30ml full spectrum with THC and CBD at a 1:1 ratio of 1000mg each.

How would I dilute this at the working dose of 10 mcg ( 5mcg THC: 5mcg CBD)

If it is 1000 mg THC + 1000 mg CBD in 30 ml oil than you need to dilute it 1 : 200. So you take 200 ml of pure ethanol (perfumers alcohol or everclear, some 96.5% alcohol) and put in 1 ml of the oil.

The oil would have 10% total canabinoids (1000 mg + 1000 mg = 2 g canabinoids, 30 ml oil is roughly 20 g, so 2 g / 20 g = 10%)

The oil has approx. 30000 mcg/ml of each molecule. There are approx. 30 drops/ml, giving you 1000 mcg/drop of the undiluted oil. As you want 5 mcg you need to dilute 200 fold. As the densities of oil and alcohol are roughly the same, you simply can use the volume, i.e. the ml.

I use higher amounts as I have only Delta-9 THC. If yours is a real natural hemp oil it should be Delta-8 THC of which you need less than I have. I that case 5 mcg each is fine.

You can drop once in a 10ml bottle filled with alcohol or oil and it will give you ~3mcg to ~3.5mcg a drop

yes, I spoke to one of the salesmen to confirm if it's the delta-8 variant and he confirmed that it is. If I need such a small amount to get those doses then it all makes sense as to why both of you guys are over ecstatic about THC:CBD. Talk about a lifetime supply, this really put things in a whole new perspective

Another thing, if the carrier is PA or Everclear how long do the effects last given how the alcohol quickly diffuses without a fixative

THC has a fairly high molecular mass compared with the stuff we usually use as mones. It's 30% more heavy than the typical steroids we use (like -none and -Androsterone and so on).
From that I rather would think that it needs a diffuser than a fixative. PEA, that definitely needs a fixative, is only 1/3 as heavy. There is a rule of thumb that the more heavy a molecule is, the less it diffuses and the longer it lasts on the skin.

In my case (I used the resin from a disposable vape pen the resin itself is a honey-like sticky stuff, so that's the fixative by its own. In your case, you have the oil itself, which acts as a fixative.
So I think you are fine as it is, but experiment is key. It might even be that in the RSA you have different diffusion than we in Canada or north Europe, just due to the temperature. Experiment is king. If you have the feeling that it's not lasting enough, you could add glycerol, MCT (cocos oil) or optimally DPG).

It's not like going crazy, but you find reports in the scientific and layman press.

Talking specifically about readily available commercial lotion products not netting reports but our mixtures are, it seems a bit weird

Because they are overdosed.

I haven't seen one lotion that has less than 2 mg , which is 2000 Mcg applications.

Refer back to the CBD testing many years ago by Justintime and see how he didn't get a great deal from it , only when he diluted it a thousand times less, he's seen results.

Great work Indi, it's nice to see this forum picking up with some activity. I would check back here once in a blue moon, only to disappointingly see that there hadn't been too much activity. Can anyone recommend a vendor to get a hold of some Delta-8 oil/concentrate on the us? Tried searching for a place that takes Bitcoin like other vendors that sell somewhat questionably legal things, but had trouble finding anywhere. Would love to make some of this and test as I do have some Androitics TAC as well xsp115, and I'm pretty sure I might even have some pxs tac if remember correctly. I've attempted to make some tinctures with some substances that I've gotten a hold of, like DMAA and Adderall, into some 30ml bottles with PA, however haven't ever gotten around to diluting them down to a reasonable dosage in a spray bottle. After coming across this thread, I may revisit testing.
