Sammie Hicks went deaf as a toddler due to a genetic mutation in her ears and has been wearing hearing aids all her life. Last month she had a Cochlear Device implanted, which was turned on earlier this month.
Her family just happened to have recorded that event.

Her 8 year old brother is also deaf, and will soon be getting his implant as well.
