To potentially stop "bad" genes from continue?
To control the population?

What?

It happens everywhere in nature, and I was just wondering why, especially in humans, do we have infertility?

I think infertility is more due to issues such as birth defects, exposure to chemicals, and bad nutrition, etc.. When I say birth defect, I mean the infertile person is born with a defective reproductive system.
