Reading this thread has peaked my interest. I followed AMANKIND's link and picked up a sample of iso super e. Looking forward to seeing how this works for me as both a phero enhancer as well as just a scent to wear. I just read that Aventus is allegedly 18% iso super e and that Fahrenheit contained 45%. I was looking at Wikipedia so who knows if it is accurate.

GorchFock made an excellent point on Hedione some time ago, and thinking on this, the same problem likely plagues IES as well. It will increase the diffusion of the entire mix, including buffers. This can result in some unpredictable efgects in excess, which would explain why thundr is so conservative with its use, and why other vendors ignore it entirely.

It makes sense. Aventus supposedly contained a decent amount of Oakmoss before the ban, and the two have similar properties. Similar enough to where I don't expect to be using synthetics for much longer.

Molecule 01 is an EDT. This means it is diluted iso e in a carrier like alcohol.

Just depends on whether you like making your own kool aid or buying it premixed.

Core was the bridge between molecule 01 and pheromones.

So how well do you think IES or Timbersilk would work sprayed first and then with an application of Titan over it?

Hi Spider-mone, I think it smells similar, but since the one from them is concentrated, it seems stronger, imo. I know we're supposed to dilute it, but I haven't gotten the Chance to get alcohol to dilute it with Sad wish I could just buy moonshine, but I don't think the high % version needed is legal in my state.

I plant to buy the IES from that seller unless somebody convinces me that there is a compellibg reason to choose Timbersilk instead.

Why not get it from PA and mix it yourself? At least you know you're getting the real thing and ends up being cheaper

Any more thoughts on Timbersilk?
Getting ready to test Timbersilk at 10% dilution and also a combo of 3/7 Timbersilk to IES, also at 10% dilution (a suggestion I read on a perfume board).
Curious if anyone is still playing with it? And if so, at what concentration?

Initial thoughts on Timbersilk.
Made 2 dilution of Timbersilk, both 10%, one in oil, one in perfumer's alcohol. (I used sweet almond oil for both, no fragrance)
Wore 2 drops of the Timbersilk oil version. It has a nice, almost not there, fragrance that comes and goes when worn on its own.
The scent description for Timbersilk reads "Smooth, velvety, woody note with cedar and amber qualities." None of the woody notes were over bearing, no hamster cage aroma, lol. As a matter of fact, once on me, it was very much a skin type scent with the "woody" coming across as more earthy or natural. It DID have more of a feel than a fragrance, smooth and velvety are good descriptive choices in this instance, though I might have chosen soft and fluffy, lol.
Very different than the 10% SoS IES dilution I made (which at the dilution at which I wore it - approx 1 - 0.5%) had neither scent nor feel. Though both Timbersilk and SoS IES are in oil at 10%, the SoS has a more chemical smell in the bottle than the Timbersilk.
I added a vanilla, honey fragrance. It was very complimentary and gave it a good 8+ hours longevity and also improved silage.
Haven't yet trialed with Pheromones.
