To contrast what Pezzi appears to have done with something geared to the same audience level, but that is authoritatively and accurately written, see these two articles by my friend Rachel Herz. She regularly attends olfactory research conferences to stay up to date, and has done her own research. And she cites the current research.

In addition, Rachel showed her true, ethical, nature when I offered her a free copy of my book many years ago. She refused because at the time she was considering writing a book of her own, and did not want to take the chance that she would be unknowingly influenced by something I had written, or incorporate it. After her 2007 book was submitted to the publisher, she accepted a copy of mine.
