I've got a sprayer of this going at 12.5 6.25 mcg.

I have so far only tested for self-effects, and let me tell you... there is something very serious going on here. The self-effects are drug-like. 12.5 6.25mcg may be more than you would want to wear out of the house.

This is the second time I've tested a single 12.5 6.25mcg spray for self-effects, and both times wham. This feeling of being stoned. Literally.

Kenny, have you tried this stuff yet?

I'm definitely not going to be wearing this to work anytime soon, at least not at this dosage. I want to wear it out to a bar or something and see if I can observe a wave of stonedness gathering around me.

Seriously, I had to go wash this stuff off. Whatever it's doing, is powerful.

The odd thing is that it does not seem to have any activity when taken orally in doses up to 1600mg or by IV in doses up to 50mg. See the PiHKAL entry - http://isomerdesign.com/PiHKAL/read.php?...=pk&id=142

But when I sniffed just a few millionths of a gram of this stuff... I really want somebody else to try this and tell me if it's only me.

(although, 50mcgs or so of PEA might be able to push me over the edge!)

However... at much lower doses it could end up being a real feel-good pheromone. I'm going to dilute it more and see. I'm not sure whether I'll bring it down to 1mcg, or even 500 nanograms...

Seems to me these are not pheromones but stupefacent drugs.

Are you sure it's the PEA and not the Dime.
PEA were in the Caps

I'm pretty sure it's the PEA. I mixed batches of both at the same time, but exercised my usual degree of scientific precision

I did some searching to find drug effects of PEA. Didn't come up with much...

Here's a rat study that found some adaptogenic properties at a 50mg/kg dose.

Here's a monkey study that found amphetamine-like effects at sufficiently high doses (a few mg intravenously).

Another rat study found dose-dependent depletion of striatal dopamine (25-75 mg/kg, i.p. for up to 7 days).

And again, PiKHAL cites PEA as being free of notable drug effects in humans. Flip through some more entries in PiHKAL and you'll see it's an expert source.

I'm not trying to hype PEA, but after my text last night. Girlfriend asked what I was talking about on the forum. Without telling her what I was doing, I ask her to try on this new scent that I had brought. Two sprays of PEA (400 mcg each spray) and off to bed we went. She get's up before me and is usually gone when the sun come up. Later that morning she call's, we plan what we're going to do after work.

If that wasn't a blind test, I don't know what is. She always loved me but for her to say it in that way was very eventful. And of course more testing needed.
