I don't know why but after the first dose I look and feel tired.. By the time a few hrs goes by i'm alert again. By the time the second dose is applied I feel more alert, aggressive, and dtf.

But its often a lethargic feeling in the morning and I've taken photographs of myself I sure look beat up in the mornings after its applied.. Not to mention increased acne.

And last nights sleep was terrible.. I've been up since 1 am.... this often happens when T surges.

You can get rid of the acne by lowering the dose and slowly increasing it. Wash your face with a cleanser to remove excess oil. Pregnenolone takes a long time for the body to adapt to because it's at the top of the steroid hormone chain. It maybe take 4-6 weeks to start feeling benefits in certain areas like inflammation. You shouldn't need to take this long before increasing your dose, though.

Are there any known side effects that may be considered negative?

Most of them have been mentioned or implied already. High T, high estrogen, acne, bad breath, dependency. Heart palpitations is another one. This is an experimental supplement and may have unpredictable effects.

I would suggest posting on the Ray Peat forum, as I have not seen anyone post about those odor issues. They may have some good adviceHelp

I'm tapering off the pansterone. It makes my voice crack, and I worry about the bad breath.

I've actually been trying CO2 supplementation lately, inspired by this post:

So far my temperature has gone up half a degree almost immediately, my focus is improved, and most importantly, it's had some major anti-inflammatory effects. I have an intestinal autoimmune disease, and I've tried everything. But this really blows everything away so far.

I drink lots of seltzer water, and I take baths with a few cups of baking soda in it. Try it and see if your metabolism goes up.

I've been rocking this at 4 drops in the morning and have noticed a slight increase is mood, better control over carb cravings, and maybe a slight increase in facial hair growth. I'm 26.

No pansterone yet.... On the list tho. Keep the reports coming!

I've been taking Bobs mill baking soda internally every morning for a few months. I also take it before I work out and when I get heart burn. I've seen nothing but good things in my health. It's hard to pin point it on BS. One of the biggest things from BS that seems to effect me is the lack of getting sore when I work out. I'm just getting back into it now that my health is returning but I haven't been sore one single time!
