Couple weeks ago I saw a Loretta Laroche special on PBS. She is so funny. She is a stress management coach . I am not really stressed but I popped on down to Borders and picked up her DVD and book and I laughed my butt off. I am gonna pick up a bunch for my girlfriends for gifts. I love approaching life with humor.

I dug up some clips to share.















I have to share one story from her book that reminded me of my mom and grandmother. She mentioned when she cooks a roastbeef she always cuts the ends off before placing it in the pan. Her grandmother did it this way and so did her mother and she taught her kids to do it.

One day she was wondering why. What purpose did it serve. So she calls her mother and asks her and her mom says I dont know thats just the way you do it. Its how your grandmother always did it. So she calls her grandmother and asks her. Her grandmother says "I dont know why you do it, I do it because the pan is to small "

I thought is was so funny the things we do without knowing why we do them.
