Tongue D-Aspartic Acid as a phero?!?!?
09-30-2016 3:07 PM

Question. Has anyone used D-Aspartic Acid as a phero? I know that it's taken as a supplement to increase testosterone production something wicked (Like 30% in 12 days or so..)?

So it would seem logical that it would be a good phero?

Thanks!This

Thats what the actual molecule looks like.

I just had the same idea the other weak. But I'm not a chemist. Maybe get some DAA, make a liquid (mix with ethanol? or purified water?) and test it.

Quote:There appears to be an increase in testosterone in most subjects acutely (6-12 days), and while this may persist to the tune of 30-60% in infertile men it is reduced to baseline within a month in otherwise healthy men with normal testosterone at baseline. However, high doses also seem to decrease free testosterone and total testosterone in resistance trained men.

Quote:Limited evidence for D-aspartic acid suggest an increase in fertility of men, with one study noting that a group went from no conceptions to 26.6% of subjects reporting conception over 90 days.

Pardon

First of all, the Test-boosting effects of D-AA are disputed and studies are not conclusive.
Secondly, the rationale test-boosting substance = good phero is not necessarily true or logical.

D-AA is a ligand of the NMDA-Rs and is excitatory - if an ethanolic solution of D-AA is feasible and inhaled, it might have unpleasant self-effects if you're prone to overexcitation of NMDA-Receptors which is often a culprit in many affective and neurological disorders.

D-AA alos features an Amine-group, it might stink.

I have this and have taken it and wasn't immensely impressed. It didn't stand out as anything amazing. Initially got some extra energy and pump. Sides if any were anxiety. Seemed to mildly improve libido. Didn't really use it as a scent. Since I have it sitting around, I'll give it a whirl. Didn't seem to have any pheromone like scent to it...
