Creed Viking?

Anyone tried Viking? Apparently it's exclusive to Nieman Marcus so my local Nordstroms with a Creed counter can't stock it, and no NM anywhere nearby.

Thoughts? Reviews?

Here is a thorough review and breakdown of Creed Viking from a longtime Creed user.
Also, as of this writing both Bassnotes and Fragrantica give it 3 1/2 of 5 stars.

http://www.scentsplit.com

Here you can buy a split of Viking or any other Creed cologne.I don't know how legit it is but i will give it a go.In this form i can afford to have splits of many crazy expensive but good cologne.I want to try Spice & Wood by Creed.I read that its superior to all Creed'si cologne. But look at the price man...

Here Tezeus,

Wow it's been a while since I have posted.

I have a 10ml split/decant of Creed Viking. I bought from that dude on basenotes above quite some time ago. I think it smells great but it's hard to describe. There are a shit ton of reviews on basenotes. Beware that for some reason there are absolute haters of Creed on there that would rip it even it they knew it smells good.

I think Viking is great.

I have scarlet warrior from DUA ...it's a viking clone.
It's a spicy cinnamon smell

5ml Decant of Viking arrived from eBay today, along with 5ml of A* Men from Thierry Mugler. Sprayed each on card and left for an hour. I know card is not skin but it's OK for quick first impressions. The A* Men is a real attention-getter, it's a "look at me" scent, probably best for young studs and not 50 year olds like me, but I'll give it a test run in bars this weekend. The Viking seemed more laid-back and grown-up, more a daily wear. Still very nice indeed. I'll give it a spin tomorrow at work.

I love decants! And I think I got lucky with sellers on eBay too. Building up a nice little library of nice man-smells to sit next to my 'mones.
