Counselling aides

Hi Guys

Of the experiences you've had with socials what do you think might be a good aide in a counselling type session?

I run a group with 5 teenage girls (aged 15 - 18) and I myself am a 25 year old female.

I'd like to test something that might:
  • Make them feel safe
  • Foster a sense of family/team
  • Encourage them to open up and talk about difficult subjects
  • To listen to me when I have something to say

I generally don't have trouble with this, and the girls have previously shared deep and emotional events/beliefs, but sometimes I feel there is too much distraction going on in their heads and getting them to focus can take longer than I'd like.

Thoughts?Comments?

I've used Beta Androstenol in counseling sessions to good effect. Seems to promote closeness and open communication. Lots of those "I've never told anyone this before" moments.

I also generally use an androsterone product in sessions to give a fatherly, protective feel, but I don't know how that would work out for a woman counselor.

Also, your description of what you're looking for made me think of some of the reports I've read on Ladies' Game from Paradise 7. Several women have reported lots of cooperative group behaviors resulting from that product in professional settings; might be worth a try in a counseling setting as well.

In the past I've used A314 to help me keep a handle on some hard-to-manage therapy groups, and was very pleased with my results despite the somewhat dominating nature of that mix.

Hmm, I'm not so hip on using pheromones on teens. Please remember these are hormones that are topically applied, and how you might feel if someone were using pheromones around you child (I know people who absolutely will not ever). My advice would be a good quality lavender, or lemon, or chamomile essential oil diffused in a good quality essential oil diffuser.

I understand your point of view beccah, and have considered holding this myself. However I feel that sticking to socials and keeping things in group settings with lots of accountability sits okay with me. My thoughts are that these are natural pheromones that I would be producing anyway if things worked differently.

Thanks for the imput dbot. I shall check these out. Thankfully I don't have to pull the authoritative character too much anymore, but then I don't really need help with that, heh. I can stare down any sassy teen girl or wannabe alpha teen boy without blinking.

I look forward to reporting my experiences.

Definitely agree that Androstadienone has therapeutic potential. I've been experimenting with EST a lot lately, and think it may have some of the most tremendous therapeutic potential of any molecule I've tested so far. At high doses, the feeling of connectedness approaches a light MDMA experience, and the therapeutic utility of MDMA is well established.

I think heavy EST + heavy Beta Androstenol could make for some very moving therapy sessions.

Do you think that this would differ for females, dbot?

From most reports I've read, responses to EST seem to be about the same when worn by males and females.

The response curve does show gender variation though, with men typically responding to <10mcg and women often needing higher concentrations (>=100mcg) to demonstrate a response.

I did notice a qualitative difference in self-effects when wearing 100mcg of EST. Lower doses made me feel a kind of satisfied sleepiness. The higher dose was more of an energized satisfaction. However, that difference may also be attributable to the 100mcg of Beta Androstenol and 50mcg of Alpha Androstenol I was wearing at the time Big Grin

Haha, maybe. It does sound good, and I keep seeing it pop up in a few reviews lately.

I'll add it to my future list. If I buy it by itself, I'm not experienced enough to mix, so do you recommend any blend that already has a good amount in it?

Or, if I am to layer it with a social blend is there anything I'd have to be wary of? Or just trial and error is the way to go?

I would suggest reading about Love Potion's Teddy Man 2, BB, B2 in the review section.
