I was all ready to say yes and post a link to some studies but I just searched (albeit very quickly) and nothing popped up.

Strange because I thought the reason I started eating celery was based on a study which talked about pheromones and testosterone from people eating celery. More specifically, it increased test and female subjects found male's sweat more attractive.

So at this point I can't back up what I said with a study only my subjective experience.

Subjectively I notice a sweet smell when I sweat after eating a lot of celery as well as what feels like a substantial boost to test (no tests just subjective experience). As for whether you are excreting increased pheromones I have noticed typical signs of that but they may be due to the self effects which are quite notable.

It did for me, but you have to eat the whole stalk not just the juice. No idea why but this is what I noticed.

That doesn't make any sense. The only thing left after juicing celery would be insoluble fiber.

I've juiced celery, but never noticed a difference. I don't think I did enough celery for a long enough period of time.

My favorite is getting the cowpers glands going with some pygeum. Lol.

If theres no studies to prove drinking pheremones produces pheremones, then it would make sense to use the celery juice and apply it in products such as shampoo, soaps and colognes.
Or hire a scientist to pull the pheremones out of the celery juice.

I agree it's whacky.

I believe certain bacteria in your colon can further process insoluble fiber that might have something to do with it.

Or maybe a full gut stimulates your body's reproductive processes.

Wild guesses and all based on just my subjective experience. But I definitely noticed a difference when I was blending whole stalks (increase over weeks) vs now when I just drink the juice (no notable change).

Other possible explanations: I have gotten older so maybe my production declined with age. Or perhaps my body has just gotten accustomed to it and no longer acts as a stimulant.

Heres the study showing that celery increase pheromones https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/520500

Heres is link showing that pheromone increase testosterone in fish cannot find any science study done on mammals so far. That doesn't mean doesn't happen in humans https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26002821

I take celery seed myself.

That first link you sent, if I read it correctly, I didnt see anything mentioning celery "increasing" pheremones.

Looks like maybe page moved.
U need to use the search engine.
Per page celery contains pheromone steroid 5a androst 16en3one.

Androstenone found in boar saliva, human sweat and human urine.

I agree that there are studies that have shown theres pheremones in celery. What I'm trying to find out is, are there studies proving that eating or drinking pheremones will produce pheremones. Are there studies proving that eating celery or drinking celery juice produce pheremones?

Regarding boar saliva and human sweat containing pheremone, was that produced after eating celery?
