As to this forum being used by a company, hardly! We do have affiliate agreements with several companies, which have been publicly disclosed, as well as the reasoning behind those agreements. But, we are not truly "affiliated" with any company, and I turned down the one company that did offer to pay me for an exclusive affiliation.

But, the other forum is owned and operated by a company run by a couple of people with very sketchy pasts.

Oh I do hope I can expect a PM about those sketchy pasts...
